We are told that sharing and getting it off the chest is good for you!
While I believe bottling it all up can be harmful, what I have found, in my work, if you keep repeating our stories it can create a victim mentality! It strengthens the neural pathways of all that is wrong with us and all the wrong that has happened to us!
I have met many many clients who have tried traditional mental health path and its loooooong and tedious with little progress made each time!
I am all about empowering my clients and part of that is less is more!
I don't believe in repeat multiple sessions and creating that dependency on me or any modality or medication!
I worked with this overseas client last year! She suffered from severe anxiety and panic attacks for major part of her adult life! It was affecting her quality of life as well as relationships with people close to her!
One of the major trigger was closed spaces especially flying!
After 10 days there was major improvement but as she listened to healing recording as advised, more layers came up for release and while I supported her I did not ask her to come in for another session till she completed listening for a time period!
I let her continue her healing journey by explaining what was happening and letting her know I believed in her and my work!
And than one day this is what I received!
No medication, No retelling stories, no continous appointment or sessions, No victim mentality, no limitations, no dependency!
