Too eager to help!!

So in my eagerness to help people, I used to go around telling people how I could help them with their aches and pains, allergies, chronic health issues, anxiety and what not!!

I hear people's souls, their bodies talk to me! And I used to blurt it out to them!

In my zest to help, I used to offer my services to everyone I met-regardless of whether they wanted it or not!!

And you can imagine-how that went down!!;-)

Now 4 years down the line, I know my worth and I also know people have free will!

While its easy and natural for me to feel their soul and hear their bodies, they need to know and trust enough, want and be willing enough to ask for help-to make a change!

Two years back, I met this friendly young lady at a social event who loved sports! She mentioned that she was booked in for wrist surgery and I immediately said its not going to help!

While I was just relating to her what her body said, I was mortified to receive a severe look!

I was told that she had consulted topmost doctors and hired the best surgeon and she had to follow advice of professionals!

I learnt a valuable lesson! My intention wasn't to "sell" my work! I have been blessed since I began to have enough clients!

My intention was to genuinely help this nice person!

But I understood thats how it came across and I respect that chastising so much!

Last month the lady contacted me out of blue, saying even after 2 surgeries, pain was still there! Even worse actually!

For an active person addicted to sports, the trauma of being in intense pain and inability to use their hand for two years had been intense!

She asked for help!!

And this time with her permission and participation, we not only managed to release the pain but she is mobile once again after the trauma of repeated surgeries!

She feels lighter and happier!

We have been raised to believe that Doctors are God and they can solve everything! Not true! They are humans too and we are in charge of our own health and well being!

I have had so many clients who have chosen or been forced into surgery, who truly believed that will be end of their pain!

For many, though, pain has not gone away, surgeries have not helped, growth has come back even more aggressively!
